The Dedham Recreation Center is situated on an especially picturesque section of the iconic Charles River, referred to as the Dedham Water Trail, home to many historical landmarks and abundant wetlands that provide a fertile habitat for beavers, muskrats, deer, turtles, and countless species of birds. This unique area also offers a variety of hiking opportunities, with its network of walking trails connected to the Wilson Mountain Reservation.
